This transport led regeneration project will link a new high capacity transport hub with mixed-use development opportunities close to Belfast city centre.
The transport element is the Belfast Hub, a £200m flagship project of national significance prioritised by the NI Executive. Scheduled for completion in 2022, it will cater for 14 million passenger journeys to and from Belfast city centre and includes a direct rail and bus link to Dublin.
The surrounding Weavers Cross neighbourhood is a mixed-use development which can be phased and accommodate 1.3m sq ft of mixed-use floor space. The project will support regeneration of nearby areas, create a new gateway to Belfast and stimulate economic opportunities for the city and Northern Ireland.
